Aroma of earthiness sweeping the air with hints of lavender, rose and honey, so delicate as the steam rises from the splashes of ocean waves pouring from the  kettle awakening the leaves. The innocent bloom of petals rest and float its beauty to you.

Your first sip takes you to the infinite world of dreams within You, as you pause, reflect and sit with the aroma, heat and essence the rose fusion. Stillness arises as you connect with the inner part of you that is infinite and magnificent

This is my RELAX into the ceremony of tea

Let's chat about it and inspire you to add it to your RELAX routine

What is tea?

The basics-

Tea is a name given to a lot of brews, such as green tea, black tea, white tea, oolong tea, and pu-erh tea . They are derived from the Camellia sinensis plant, a shrub native to China and India, and contain unique antioxidants called flavonoids.

Blooming Teas-

Blooming tea or flowering tea is a combination of teas and tisanes. More specifically, this tea is a tight bundle of green tea leaves or buds skillfully hand-woven around dried flowers like globe amaranth, jasmine, marigold, lily, and osmanthus.

 Benefits

Tea has many benefits , we are mainly focusing on Anxiety relief for your RELAX.  Tea can be infused in your RELAX routine for a daily mindful routine to calm anxiety. Select the right tea that fits your need at the moment.

The type of tea you choose to brew can also help to soothe stress and anxiety. One of the key reasons tea is so

beneficial for your health is due to L-theanine, an amino acid that helps to balance mood. Although theanine levels differ because of many different factors, teas also contain a number of beneficial ingredients that can help to settle your mind and reduce stress on your body. The next time you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed and need to get into your RELAX , try reaching for one of these teas and discover their relaxing properties for You.

How does Tea support Anxiety and Stress Relief?

Herbal teas contain multiple types of natural anti-inflammatory compounds that may benefit the human body, such as:

  • antioxidants, which help protect the body from stress
  • antiviral and antibacterial compounds
  • herbs that may reduce inflammation
  • herbs that may reduce the risk of blood clots and high blood pressure

Drinking a cup of herbal tea each day may help protect your health in the long term and reduce stress levels.  Studies have shown, that lemon balm, which can be consumed in tea blends, may be effective for improving feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression, that has ongoing current research.

Some studies have shown inhaling tea aroma — black tea, specifically — may help lower stress levels and produce a calmer mood.

*Note these are studies, everyone's experience and body is different, be sure to talk with your doctor before introducing any herbal teas in your diet.

Herbal tea is generally considered safe for most people, but certain types may cause an allergic reaction. Before trying a tea or adding one to your routine, research any possible drug interactions or how it may affect certain health conditions.

Be sure to follow brewing instructions, and check expiration dates on the packaging to get the maximum benefits out of these teas.

How to add Tea into your RELAX meditation process

A cup of tea in the morning can calm your mind and focus your energy for the day. Meditation is similar to holding a steeping cup of tea because you are physically still and focused on the moment. Combining these two rituals can lead to a very conscious day into your RELAX routine

Morning Meditation

Morning mediation is key part of my RELAX routine every morning. Begin your morning with mindful intentions and gratitude to align yourself for the day.

Green tea is great start for you day. Green Tea provides a mental boost that can be an excellent pairing for meditation. Starting your day with your favorite cup of tea helps to embrace the

meditation state and ensures you appreciate the experience.

Studies have shown that consistent meditation eases your stress and has many health benefits. Similarly, drinking tea is also linked to reduced stress, lower risk for heart disease and diabetes, and many other health benefits.  Combining the two is a recipe for success.
